This girl did something fun today...
Evie met with a teacher and was screened for Kindergarten! Her birthday happens to fall four days after the cut-off date for beginning Kindergarten in August. So, she is going through the process of Early Admission. Today she was assessed on the basics in order to qualify for acceptance into the district's regular kindergarten program. If she 'passes', then she will begin the registration process into one of the schools in our area.
Yay, Evie!
Evie did an awesome job! She had fun answering questions and telling the teacher about her family. For more fun afterwards, we found ice cream for some Mama and Evie time. Evie chose Coldstone, so we splurged and got a waffle bowl with sprinkles and our favorite Oreo Overload with cake batter ice cream! Yum!
