Jackson's First Paintings

Jackson's turn! It has taken Mommy a long time, too long, to hand Jackson the paintbrush. I have found it to be rather difficult to manage two kiddos at the same time, especially concerning an activity such as painting. I can barely keep Evie's two hands from spilling water and paint all over everything, let alone adding two more of Jackson's to the mix. So, I took advantage of this time that Evie has been away at Grammy and Papa's to give Jackson his turn. He had so much fun painting on his own terms and making a mess. :)

Jackson's first painting - he wanted ALL the colors

His leaf painting - He picked four different leaves from around the backyard (grapefruit tree, lemon tree, mint and another tree that I don't know the name of), picked his favorite color for each leaf, and did an AWESOME job stamping them onto the paper.


Now here's to a new goal of putting paintbrushes in both of the kid's hands at the same time! :)
