Day 10: CELEBRATE

Today is the final day of the Intentional Parenting journey I have taken. Looking over my journals, I have learned quite a few things about myself, parenting, and priorities. Here is a brief summary of these ten days...
  • Day 1: Awake - Spending intentional time with the kids.
  • Day 2: Heart - Focus on what is important to the kids.
  • Day 3: See - Focus on the beauty in our lives.
  • Day 4: Listen - My desire is for my children to know they are important and that I value the words they share with me.
  • Day 5: Record - Remember the favorite times - spending time together is best.
  • Day 6: Grace - Use strategies that 'interrupt' the challenging moments.
  • Day 7: Influence - One thing to change now: Initial response to disobedience.
  • Day 8: Work - Be grateful for the stewardship roles God has given me and do not complain.
  • Day 9: Family - Guard and protect our family and our mission.
  • Day 10: Celebrate - Be intentional with each child and strengthen our family
I am so grateful for these 10 Days of Intentional Parenting. Now that I have gone through them on my own, Blake and I plan to work through them again together. We want to focus our attentions on guiding our children towards God in all we do... it must be consistent and intentional. Thank you, Jesus, for your grace!
