Days with Jackson

The time is here for this Mama to get some major one-on-one time with her favorite little man. As much as I was not looking forward to Evie starting school, I have very much been looking forward to time alone with Jackson. Besides a day or two here and there from trips, the only Jackson I know revolves around his sister. I remember spending all of my time playing and teaching Evie before Jackson, and even after Jackson was born while he was a baby and took many naps a day. I have never really had that focused time with him. When there are two young ones grasping for your time and attention, it is difficult to focus completely on one or the other... at least for me. So, now that Jackson and I are blessed with almost seven hours of time with just the two of us, I want to take advantage of it. Now, please do not get me wrong. There will still be down time and I will not be constantly filling our time with planned activities, etc. However, I am aiming high and would love to spend some quality time each day teaching him, reading to him, playing with him, and most importantly, loving on him. I know that I have been doing this since he was born, but I want to be much more intentional. I will never get this time back and I want to make the most of it!

Library Time! Jackson played with puzzles, made a new friend, picked and checked out some new books, and participated in StoryTime.

Playing with friends! Aeden (Jackson's age) is in the background, Lincoln and Owen (both recently turned one) in the pool with Jackson, and Jeana and Karen (my friends!). :)

The Zoo with Mommy and Daddy (and the favorite frog rock!)

We even got to see the new cub, Luka!
