Downtown Christmas

One thing positive with Blake's schedule is that our hang out times are in the late morning/early afternoon before Blake heads to work. We usually spend it cooking together and going for walks around our favorite areas of Phoenix. We love downtown Phoenix, especially this time of year. Even in warm weather, Phoenix does a pretty good job making the season feel Christmas-y. Favorite things to do downtown: Cartel Coffee Lab, West of Soho clothing store, and riding up and down the escalators. Craziest idea yet - an outdoor ice skating rink that takes over one block downtown, open for a month (even in 85 degree weather)! And yet, somehow it works and it definitely adds to the 'winter' here in the desert. ;)
