Sweet Homeyness
Blake, Evie and I are back home in Flagstaff... and we're not planning any trips for a month!
Our time in Phoenix wasn't so bad - lots of boredom, but sometimes it really is refreshing to do 'nothing. Blake and I went to the David Crowder Band Concert on Friday night, which was amazing. We were able to spend some time on Saturday visiting some of my favorite secondhand stores to find Evie some much needed winter apparel. We scored some perfect jeans, lots of shirts and several pairs of shoes. Evie's favorite are her 'new' pink cowgirl boots. And let me tel l you, these shoes shout 'Yeehaw!' She, of course, immediately paired these boots with a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. This girl definitely has STYLE!!!
On to BIG news! Blake has officially applied to Multnomah University in Portland, Oregon. Blake and I will be driving out to Portland mid-November to check out the university, city, etc. and Blake will go through an in-person interview while visiting. We will know by the beginning of December if he's been accepted. If so, we'll be moving to Portland sometime next August! Honestly, there's no way to express through a blog how excited I actually am about all of this. Now, we'll just be waiting to see where God leads us...
You might be gone when the baby comes! Very cool on applying to school though. We will be praying.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I hope I don't miss the baby being born! But, I do want the baby to come early for you, too... so, maybe I'll make it back just in time. ;) We'll be back home around the 18th, so I'll do my best to time it just right. lol! Thanks for praying for the school stuff.
