Today is DAY 1 of the potty training experience with Evie. She is extremely interested in the potty, so I'm hoping for an 'easy' transition. I believe she's been ready for several months now. However, Mommy hasn't put for the effort/time to help her along. So, I decided that I would cross off most activities for the week and spend all of her moments awake focusing on the training. So far, so good. She's loving the idea of getting to put a sticker on the potty calendar. And we've decided to give 2 M&M's for going 'number one' and 4 M&M's for going 'number two'. :) She's my chocolate girl, so I think it'll work wonders!
If all works well and according to my plans, Evie will be potty trained by her 2nd birthday, which is 2 1/2 weeks away.
Here's to hoping for big girl underwear (and no more stinky diapers)!!!
