I (Heather) have just recently begun helping one of my friends at church clean a large house. She is the manager of this house, which belongs to some of her close friends. The house is being rented out as a vacation home, usually over weekends, but sometimes a week at a time. I am really enjoying getting out of the house for a couple of hours a week... while making a little money. :)
Actually, I make more money helping clean this house for a couple of hours a week than I did working long hours taking care of 15-20 kids at a time. I have NO complaints. None.
I never pictured being a 'cleaner'. However, I'm a clean freak and know how to make things sparkle... this is becoming quite a good job for me. PLUS, it allows me to take a much-needed break from home. I am excited to spend some quiet, quality time with God in prayer while cleaning...
