This past week I celebrated my 28th birthday. It was fun and cheap and just the way I hoped it would be. Blake had several days off and he took me window shopping, since I have been wanting to just walk around without the kids for some time now. It is difficult to enjoy looking around with two active kiddos. ;) We also took advantage of free Dutch Bros coffee, a free Firehouse Subs sandwich and a free Old Chicago pizza. I love free birthday stuff! In my opinion, it is much more fun to spend no money on my birthday. :) The following day, Garrett and Charissa (Blake's brother and girlfriend) watched the kids for us to go out again. We enjoyed Texas Roadhouse, miniature golf, and we spent some time browsing books at Bookman's. We had so much fun. It felt odd to be kid-less for two evenings in a row, but it was awesome to do some things we had not done since before having our babies. Thanks for a great birthday, Blake and family!
