After searching for years for a hobby to call my own, I'm giving in to the fact that anything pertaining to photography IS my favorite past-time. I've tried many different 'hobbies', with only a few examples being scrapbooking, sewing, cooking, and reading. Don't get me wrong, I love all these things, too. However, these are examples of things I want to get done, something to check off one of my numerous lists. They are not things that I LOVE to do. Photography is something I find myself doing without trying. I can spend hours editing photos, convincing my daughter to smile 'just one more time', or browse through my many favorite photographer's artwork. In fact, I have to be careful that I don't overspend my time on photography. It's addicting. I do not plan to ever branch out with photography. I'd like to keep it just for me, not that I don't enjoy and will continue to share photos with others, but it will not be something I 'sell'. I prefer to just enjoy photography and not allow stress to enter into the time I do give to this hobby of mine.
