Finishing Up

I've fallen off the horse and am way behind on updating this thing. Sorry to those who check this blog for changes...

I have one more week of classes before finals for this semester. I am so ready for this semester to be over. It's been very enjoyable being able to have a 'good' reason to get out of the house. I always love being in class, even if I don't particularly enjoy the subject I'm learning.

Evie is well. She's always been a VERY independent girl, but these past few weeks have been a struggle for me. Spanking has never worked on this girl, so we've been experimenting with time-outs. They seem to be working well for the time being... she really hasn't stopped doing those things that calls for time-outs, but she understands what time-out means and sits there patiently until I feel it necessary to sit down with her to 'talk' through everything. It's definitely an interesting experience and I'll just keep praying she starts to listen.

We're all looking forward to getting out of Flagstaff for a little bit at the end of May. We'll be flying to Connecticut with Blake's mom and brother. It'll be a great break from everyday life.

Hopefully it won't be so long before I make the time to sit down and update again...
