Woohoo, Jackson!!! He decided that he didn't want to wear diapers anymore - Mickey Mouse underwear are SO much more fun! ;) He's been using the big boy toilet for a couple of months now, but due to my own laziness, the process was 'incomplete'. After coming home from my sister's baby shower in California last weekend, I decided to take several days and switch over to underwear, once and for all. Blake spent four days in Dallas for supervisor training and I knew we would not be going any where for a few days - perfect!
Day one = prompted to use the restroom once every hour with no accidents, including using underwear during nap time!
Day two = prompted less often, and still no accidents!
Day three = spent a couple of hours at Grandma and Gramps and had a couple of accidents while playing outside (it's just too much fun and it's SO hard to remember to pay attention!).
Day four = only prompted a couple of times, no accidents.
Day five = Jackson's going to the bathroom by himself, remembers to go when he needs to, no accidents!
Success!!! I'm so thankful there has been no stress involved with Jackson switching out of diapers. We had such a difficult potty-training experience with Evie that I can't believe Jackson's got it figured out already. So proud of him!
