Park Picnic

Blake and I are working on being more intentional with our time as a family. Blake's job includes quite a bit of overtime, so we are never guaranteed 'days off' these days. So, we try to spend our mornings and early afternoons purposefully before Daddy has to go to work.

Today we headed to the downtown Phoenix Public Library and park. Evie wanted to have a picnic, so we brought along some fun snacks and spent some time playing, running around, and laying on the grass.

Evie and Jackson decided to go on a little walk, a ways off from Mama and Daddy. I love their faces as they came running back to us across the field.

Evie loved playing with the freshly mowed grass. Jackson loved the freedom of running and watching the dogs run past.
